Cameraman David Carter has been filming Sir Ranulph Fiennes from the start of the challenge and the walk in to Everest Base Camp.
Sir Ranulph is very fit which means that David has a tough job in not only keeping up, but keeping ahead in order to capture the action. On the walk in that was fairly easy – but on the mountain it requires a good strong pair of lungs.
He continues to film Sir Ranulph as he moves progressively higher up the mountain during the acclimatisation process.
David is also responsible for ensuring sound quality during interviews at Base Camp.
On return to Base Camp David works with Liz Scarff to edit and then upload the short films that you are watching in our news posts.
David is working along side Rob Casserley – who will be filming Sir Ranulph on the summit.
