This morning, for the first time since April 28, Team Marie Curie are back on Everest.
They woke at 3.30am for breakfast and set off at 4am. Still dark; the twinkling headtorches of the Sherpas could be seen bobbing up the Icefall. Sherpas in Team Marie Curie’s camp lit juniper for good luck before setting off.
